Reading has always been an integral part of my life. I vividly remember clutching onto my copy of "Naya Nuki" during elementary school, waiting for my next adventure. One year my family and I vacationed in California, and the 6th Harry Potter book came out. I could not put it down. Escaping through reading was also there for me during the more challenging parts of my life. I would lose myself in the world Neil Gaiman constructed in "Neverwhere" while I felt my world collapsing around me. Books have been ever-present in my life and continue to introduce me to new people and new stories.

This website is intended to be a place where I can gather my thoughts on the books I love and hopefully find some new friends. If it ever became more than that, I would be honored. I would love nothing more than to be a part of a story-loving community. Also, if you want to know how to pronounce my name, think Fiat, with an "L."
